The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has once again issued a new ultimatum in which he gives “10 days” to Iran, until April 6, to open the Strait of Hormuz or else, he will destroy more Iranian energy facilities. Likewise, he has maintained that “the talks” with the ayatollah regime “continue”.

Thus, through its social network, it has assured that this event is due as a response to a “request from the Iranian Government” and that, it grants a truce of “10 days, until Monday, April 6, 2026, at 8 p.m.

Furthermore, he has reiterated that he is carrying out good conversations with the ayatollah regime -which have been denied by Iran on several occasions-. “The conversations continue and, despite erroneous statements to the contrary by fake news media and others, they are going very well,” he defended.

Lurches and lies

The American president this week has assured that he has conveyed to the Iranian Government a plan that contains 15 points to achieve peace from the war. However, the ayatollah regime has rejected the plan due to the “contradictions” of Trump. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran, Abás Araqchí, has argued that he asks to negotiate while increasing military presence in the region.

The swings of the United States president have been protagonists since the beginning of the war of the US and Israel against Iran. In this context, a week ago, he issued an ultimatum to the ayatollahs of “48 hours” to unblock the Strait of Hormuz and threatened them that if they did not comply, they would attack their energy plants.

However, hours later he backed down and through a message uploaded to his social network, he assured that Iran and his country had held "during the last two days, very good conversations" therefore, he had "instructed the war department to postpone any military attack against energy plants" of the ayatollah regime, "during the five-day period". Iran denied these statements.

But, according to the Iranian news agency ‘Fars’, two energy infrastructures in Iran, located in Isfahan, had been attacked with damage to an administrative building and a gas station, as well as to the pipeline of the Khorramshahr power plant. Likewise, Iran also did not stop its attacks and launched a wave of missiles against Tel Aviv and other cities in Israel.
