The Vice President of the United States under the political orbit of Donald Trump, J. D. Vance, has generated controversy after openly declaring his interest in conspiracy theories related to UFOs, even going so far as to claim that the alleged extraterrestrials could have a demonic origin.

In recent statements, Vance maintained that his vision of these phenomena is deeply influenced by his religious beliefs. “I believe they are demons in some way, but that's a longer discussion,” he stated.

The vice president argued that different religious traditions have historically addressed the existence of unexplained elements. “Every religion in the world, including Christianity, has understood that there are strange things out there and they are very difficult to explain,” he noted.

He went further by attributing a possible deceptive dimension to these phenomena. “And I think that one of the devil's great tricks is to convince people…”, he added, suggesting that these experiences could be part of a spiritual manipulation.
