The president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, celebrated this Monday the early election announced by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and states that "he is leaving because he can't take it anymore" and that it is impossible for him to "continue with this farce any longer".

In an informative breakfast organized by Nueva Economía Fórum, held minutes after Pedro Sánchez's institutional declaration, the leader of the Popular Party stressed that "today a great opportunity opens up" to dislodge from Moncloa the "totalitarian machinery" that, in her opinion, the President of the Government had installed in the Executive.

Criticism for the institutional declaration and the early election on November 29

Isabel Díaz Ayuso has opined that Pedro Sánchez, in his appearance to announce the early elections on November 29, tried to "victimize himself" and "lied again" to "not recognize that he neither has the numbers nor can he continue with this farce any longer".

The Madrid president has even stated that Sánchez has been "a cancer that has eaten away at everything", the "most amoral" president Spain has had and, in short, a "curse", considering that he has not promoted "a single state policy up to the times" at a time when, she said, Spain "needs structural reforms".

Accusations of corruption and social deterioration

Furthermore, Isabel Díaz Ayuso has accused Pedro Sánchez of championing a "criminal and totalitarian ideology" and of making "ostentatious use of power", in part, she pointed out, to "protect his family and his direct political circle from the corruption cases that, whether he likes it or not, are waiting for him in court".

According to the president of the Community of Madrid, the head of the Executive leaves a country "aggrieved" and "trapped in the thousand-euro salary", after striving to "multiply poverty to blame a few".
