The Executive control session this Wednesday was marked by several confrontations in which the declaration of former socialist president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero was the epicenter of the debate in the Congress of Deputies. The day began with the face-to-face between the leader of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, and the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez. Subsequently, there was a confrontation between the PP spokesperson, Ester Muñoz, and the ERC spokesperson, Gabriel Rufián, during the plenary debate on the amendment by the 'populares' and Junts, to call for early elections, which has been rejected by the Congress Bureau.

In this context, Muñoz attacked the Catalan for his support of the Government and asked him the question: "How much more shit are you going to swallow?" Immediately after, Rufián, referring to the relations between Junts and the 'populares', replied: "How do you deal with pacts with coup plotters?"

"They should have been voted on so that you would expose yourselves, especially some of you, because the question is simple: How do you deal with pacts on certain things more and more with coup plotters or even terrorists?", accused the ERC member, alluding to the PP's words towards Junts members.

"I don't have the slightest desire for you to be a minister, I admit it. And until the PSOE makes it very difficult for me, which it will make very difficult for me, I, as ERC spokesperson, will do everything possible to prevent you from governing. It is my historical responsibility. When is the no-confidence motion? It's ripe for the picking," declared the ERC spokesperson, Gabriel Rufián.
