Pepa Millán harshly attacks the Government over the situation in Ceuta: accuses it of "hiding" sexual assaults and of "preferring to look the other way"

The spokesperson for the Vox Parliamentary Group in the Congress of Deputies, Pepa Millán, on Tuesday criticized the Government for what she considers an attempt to "hide" the sexual assaults suffered by minors in Ceuta, after the massive entry of migrants recorded two months ago.

During a press conference in the Lower House, Millán stated: "This continues to happen every day on the beaches of Ceuta and the Government insists on hiding it, insists on thanking the invader and insists on making the situation chronic to end up ceding Spanish territory, which is what we are heading towards."

Reproach for the rape of a 17-year-old minor

The Vox leader assured that two months "of the invasion will be completed and everything is getting worse" and placed the situation in the autonomous city in "60 days of abandonment and surrender of our borders." According to her, "almost 40 women have been sexually assaulted."

Pepa Millán also refers to the 17-year-old immigrant minor who, as she recounted, was "brutally raped" in the El Trampolín settlement and had to be resuscitated by the police. "We have not heard any member of the Government condemn this, we have not heard any feminist, who calls herself a feminist and who says she defends women, talk about the immigrant who had to be resuscitated by the police after being brutally raped," she reproached.

Accusation of inaction against the Executive

The Vox spokesperson insisted that the Executive "prefers to continue looking the other way, hiding the reality" and remarked: "We do not forget Ceuta and we will be remembering it every day as long as there is a single invader left in this Spanish city, we do not forget Ceuta because nothing has changed yet."

In her speech, Pepa Millán concluded with a message addressed to the Government: "This is absolutely unbearable, the Government's inaction is costing people their lives," she declared.
