The Popular Party has reacted to the start of the transfer of migrants settled on the beaches of Ceuta to the camp set up in the port, an operation that has registered moments of tension after some groups tried to run towards the facilities. The State Security Forces and Corps have intervened by charging against the migrants to contain the situation and reorganize them before continuing with the displacement.
The deputy secretary of the PP and party spokesperson in Congress, Ester Muñoz, has criticized the Government's management through a message published on X. In her publication, she linked the images of the operation with the Executive's actions and criticized the situation of the agents deployed in Ceuta: "This is how Pedro Sánchez manages an invasion. 'The living image of normality'. The 'subjective insecurity' is appreciated. Again leaving national police, civil guards and military personnel sold out. Ceuta abandoned to its fate. We will never forgive you".

For his part, the general secretary of the PP, Miguel Tellado, has demanded the return of the migrants and has called for the resignation of Pedro Sánchez's Government. "Immediate return. Government resignation", the popular leader wrote in his reaction to the images of the transfer.

The operation began around 6:30 a.m. with the deployment of Civil Guard patrols on the Trampolín beach to group the migrants and accompany them towards the port. As the first groups arrived at Benítez beach, the people who remained in that settlement joined, increasing the number of migrants advancing towards the reception facility.
During the displacement, part of the crowd went from walking to jogging and then began to run along the road next to the beach. Given the group's advance, National Police reinforcements joined, managing to contain the situation in the vicinity of the industrial area that connects to the port. The migrants remain at that point while officers organize the transfer.
The operation is also taking place with a significant discrepancy between the people who need to be transferred and the camp's capacity. Estimates place the number of migrants remaining between Trampolín and Benítez at more than 4,000, while the port facilities have about 1,800 spaces.
