RTVE has announced that this Saturday, January 24, starting at 10:00 PM, it will offer the 2026 Feroz Awards gala on La 2 and its digital platform RTVE Play, allowing viewers to follow one of the most important events in Spanish film and television live.
The ceremony, which will be held at the Pazo da Cultura in Pontevedra, will be hosted by Petra Martínez, Antonio Durán Morris, Samantha Hudson, and Elisabet Casanovas, with commentary from writer Bob Pop, and will be attended by numerous figures from cinema and the small screen.
Accessibility and programming
The broadcast on RTVE will include sign language translation, making the event more accessible. Additionally, RTVE has reorganized its prime time on La 2 to give prominence to the gala, shifting and adjusting part of its usual programming in favor of this audiovisual special.
From RTVE Play it will also be possible to access not only the broadcast of the gala, but also a free collection of award-winning films and series from previous editions, allowing users to relive outstanding titles from recent Spanish cinema.
Invited to the event of the best of Spanish audiovisual
The Feroz Awards, organized by the Association of Cinematographic Informants of Spain, recognize the best of cinema and series of the year, and serve as an important prelude to the Goya Awards. Titles such as Los domingos, Maspalomas, Romería, or Sorda are among the favorites in their respective categories.
Among the guests at the gala, RTVE has highlighted Maria de Medeiros, Candela Peña, Anna Castillo, Álvaro Morte, Ricardo Gómez, Javier Cámara, Leonor Watling, Javier Ambrossi, Eduardo Casanova, Javier Calvo, María León, Nora Navas, Álvaro Cervantes, Asier Etxeandia, Leticia Dolera, Patricia López Arnaiz, Ingrid García-Jonsson, Natalia de Molina, or Yurena, and Marta Fernández Muro, who will receive the Feroz of Honor Award.
