La Séptima is already showing who will report the news when it begins broadcasting on November 5. The new channel published a video this Thursday featuring the professionals preparing their coverage. There are familiar faces from laSexta, former colleagues of Javier Ruiz on 'Mañaneros 360', and new hires with experience in economics, meteorology, and social commentary. In total, 17 people are identified by name, including Daniel Fernández, who will be the Content Director.

"LA SÉPTIMA's reporters are almost ready. On November 5, we're going all in," the channel announced alongside the recording. The video allows putting faces to the team that until now had been known mainly through hiring announcements. It also comes at a particularly intense time for any newsroom: the channel will premiere 24 days before the general elections on November 29.

Reunions of 'Mañaneros 360' and signings from laSexta

Among the first faces in the video are Sara Rincón and Glòria Mena, who come from laSexta. Rincón has worked on 'laSexta Noticias' and 'laSexta Clave' and has covered on the ground events such as the war in Ukraine and Maricarmen's eviction. Mena brings years of experience in political information, electoral campaigns, and news presenting.

The presence of former colleagues from 'Mañaneros 360' is one of the clearest images of the new team. In the recording appear Pedro Gómez and Carla Acuña, linked to court information, along with Marta Hita, María Escolar, Arantxa de Fez, Pablo Collantes, and Cristina Cañedo. They are journalists who have worked for RTVE and for current affairs programs on other channels, from 'Más vale tarde' and '120 minutos' to 'Todo es mentira' or 'La mirada crítica'.

Also appearing are Ana Francisco, José Araque, and Pablo Montes, three additions from 'Directo al grano'. Francisco has worked on formats such as 'Todo es mentira' and 'Caiga quien caiga'; Araque has been a reporter on 'En boca de todos' and 'Ya es mediodía'; and Montes adds work at Cadena SER to his television career.

The video also shows Pablo Anzola, specialized in economic information, and meteorologist Adrián Cordero. Among the names that had not appeared in the first compilations of signings are Luz Martín and Óscar Furones. The latter arrives with a career that includes sports journalism and social chronicle from 'Socialité' and '¡Vaya fama!', two registers that expand the profiles gathered by the channel.

Daniel Fernández accompanies the reporters

The recording includes Daniel Fernández, Content Director of La Séptima. Fernández directed 'Mañaneros 360' and previously worked with Javier Ruiz, editorial director of the new channel. As explained by the promoter of La Séptima, José Miguel Contreras, his area will group the functions of news content and programs in a schedule focused on current affairs.

'ElConstitucional.es' had already reviewed a good part of the channel's signings this week. The novelty now is to see them together in a promotion for La Séptima, with names coming from very different newsrooms and programs. Its premiere on digital terrestrial television is set for next November 5.
