The countdown to the premiere of La Séptima has begun. The new television channel will arrive on DTT this Thursday, November 5, at 12:00 p.m., with programming that will combine current affairs, debate, humor, and entertainment. While preparations are being finalized, its presenters have begun to give clues about what viewers will find on screen.

Sarah Santaolalla, Rocío Delgado, Noor Ben Yessef, Luján Argüelles, Héctor de Miguel (known as Quequé), Alba Carrillo, and Marta Márquez are some of the faces who have presented their shows through the channel's social networks. They are joined by Verónica Sanz, in charge of opening the broadcasts, and Javier Ruiz, editorial director and presenter of the nightly bet.

Driven by José Miguel Contreras, La Séptima will broadcast openly from San Sebastián de los Reyes, in Madrid. Its programs will share a set prepared to adapt to the different time slots of a schedule that will give a central role to live broadcasting.

From Santaolalla to Javier Ruiz, La Séptima's afternoons

The first image of La Séptima will come from Verónica Sanz, who will inaugurate the broadcasts at 12:00 p.m. this Thursday. Her program, 'El Pulso', will be in charge of following current events from Monday to Friday with connections, analysis, and debate.

Then Sarah Santaolalla will take over with 'En línea', her after-dinner show. The presenter will be on air from Monday to Friday between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and has already announced that she will pay attention to both what happens on the street and the issues circulating on social networks.

"Always uncomfortable truths, we must make people uncomfortable because the truth is uncomfortable," says Santaolalla in the presentation video, in which she also promises to resort to the newspaper archive to recall what those who are currently in the news said in the past.

After her, Rocío Delgado will arrive with 'Sobre la mesa' (On the table), from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The journalist proposes a after-dinner talk that will mix the day's news with culture, health, nutrition, and well-being, accompanied by the connections of the channel's team of reporters.

"We want to accompany you, to be with you," explains Delgado in a presentation in which she also champions the conversation that arises around a table.

Next will be the turn of Noor Ben Yessef and 'La Diana', which will occupy the slot from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The presenter previews a program that will focus on data and the people behind it, with reporters on the streets and conversations with the protagonists of current events.

"We will be in the squares, in the neighborhoods," says Ben Yessef, who also promises interviews and assures that the space wants to change "the focus."

The night will be in the hands of Javier Ruiz, who will present 'La última hora' starting at 9:00 PM. The journalist will review and analyze the day's news in a space that is scheduled to air from Sunday to Friday.

The network is also preparing small handovers between presenters to link their programs. The announced time slots are indicative, and these encounters will occupy a few minutes around the change from one broadcast to another.

Luján Argüelles, Quequé and Alba Carrillo take over the weekend

Saturdays and Sundays will maintain live news, with more space for humor and entertainment. Luján Argüelles will open the weekend at 12:00 PM with a program that will run until 2:00 PM.

The presenter has explained that she wants to return to current affairs after a period linked to dating shows. During the first few weeks, she will pay special attention to the general election campaign, although she also wants to address issues such as mental health, new family models, and artificial intelligence.

"Current events don't stop on the weekend," Argüelles reminds in the video with which she has presented her new adventure.

At 2:00 p.m. Héctor de Miguel, Quequé, will arrive with 'La comedia nacional', which will be on air until 5:00 p.m. His proposal will bring humor and satire to the afternoon, accompanied by collaborators such as Ignatius Farray, Marina Lobo, and Mariang Maturana.

To present the program, Quequé has starred in a video in which he searches, without much success, for the humor before the premiere. "We start it without humor, it doesn't matter. And then we'll see," jokes his companion upon realizing they haven't found it yet.

Saturday and Sunday afternoon will be for Alba Carrillo and Marta Márquez, who will host 'Fuera de control' from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Both have presented the space with some particular "commandments" in which they promise current affairs, humor, spontaneity, and a meeting place for viewers.

"You shall love current affairs above all things" and "you shall not renounce humor or spontaneity" are two of the rules that the presenters, jokingly, put forward before taking charge of the program.

Saturday night will have a different proposal with 'La séptima pantalla', starting at 9:00 p.m. The space will combine the broadcast of a film without commercial breaks with a subsequent conversation about the topics it raises. Each week, one of the channel's faces will be in charge of hosting it.

To watch La Séptima, viewers can find it on digital terrestrial television, free and open. The new signal could appear in the position where Atreseries is now located, although the result will depend on each television set.

If the channel does not appear, the option is to enter the television menu, access the channels or tuning section and perform an automatic search. Afterwards, the list can be ordered and La Séptima can be placed at the number each viewer prefers, such as number 7. The new search will also help locate other channels affected by the reorganization of DTT.
