The leader of the Popular Party (PP), Alberto Núñez Feijóo, warned this Monday that the Government of Pedro Sánchez "is interested in there being tension and violence in the streets" so that Spaniards, as he pointed out, forget that they have been governing for eight years and about their corruption cases.
He stated this in an interview granted to Vozpopuli, in which he also maintained that Spain currently has "the most radical Government in the country's democratic history" and recalled that the Executive governs, among other things, thanks to the votes of EH Bildu.
"This Government creates tension and lives, from the very first moment, from the vote of Bildu and from exasperation, tension, division, and the trenches," added Alberto Núñez Feijóo, in statements that coincide with the disturbances recorded in Barcelona.
The president of the PP went further by maintaining that Pedro Sánchez intends to "defeat half of Spain", in contrast to his approach, which he defined as "governing for the majority of the Nation". Furthermore, he asked the head of the Executive to stop "giving lessons on peace" because, in his opinion, "he is playing with fire".
Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo accuses Sánchez of wanting to "incite" the streets
The deputy spokesperson for the PP in the Congress and number two of the party on the list for Madrid, Cayetana Álvarez de Toledo, also spoke on this same issue, denouncing in a message published on the social network X that Sánchez, by not controlling the streets, "intends to incite them."
"Since he has lost the streets, Sánchez intends to incite them. His strategy is civil confrontation. He invokes love but encourages hatred," wrote the popular leader in that publication.
Como ha perdido la calle, Sánchez pretende incendiarla. Su estrategia es la confrontación civil. Invoca el amor pero alienta el odio. —— Hoy, en @EspejoPublico @ppopular https://t.co/xkBtAmanYL

Housing as a strategic vice-presidency and audit in the first 100 days
In the same interview, Alberto Núñez Feijóo announced that, if Spaniards give him their trust on November 29, he will elevate housing to a strategic vice-presidency within his future Government.
The PP candidate for Prime Minister also revealed that, if he reaches Moncloa, the first thing he will do will be to commission an audit during the first 100 days to ascertain the real debt and deficit, after four years without General State Budgets (PGE) and with Pedro Sánchez at the head of the Executive.
