The president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, has conveyed this Monday his condolences for the victims of the heavy rains caused by dana Adam in several areas of the country, a storm that keeps different territories on alert and has already left two dead, one in Catalonia and another in Sagunto.
During the presentation of the 'Contract with Spain' in Madrid, Feijóo has asked the population for prudence and has sent a direct message to citizens: “Take care, take care of your loved ones and protect yourselves”. The leader of the PP has also added his recognition to emergency professionals, whom he has thanked for, once again, protecting the population.
Contact with the president of the Generalitat Valenciana
The popular leader has also explained that he has spoken since “early in the morning” with the president of the Generalitat, Juanfran Pérez Llorca, to make himself available and convey the support of the Popular Party in the face of the evolution of the storm.
“I spoke early in the morning with the President of the Valencian Community, and I have done so again a while ago, to make myself available and to convey all the support of the Popular Party”, Feijóo detailed.
The president of the PP has assured that he follows “with concern” the news arriving about the storm and has asked citizens to exercise extreme caution “in these difficult hours”, while insisting that the indications of the authorities be followed.
