The general secretary of the PP, Miguel Tellado, assured this Thursday that the new operation by the Central Operative Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard within the framework of the Koldo case represents the "final fireworks of decadent Sanchismo" and maintained that the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, is "synonymous with corruption, negligence, and disaster for Spain".
Tellado also stated that "indeed, not all of us are the same", in reference to the slogan that the Government and the PSOE have begun to disseminate after the resignation of the Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, due to the Urda (Toledo) accident.
Search of Ábalos's house and requests at Adif
Specifically, agents of the UCO of the Civil Guard have launched an operation within the framework of a secret separate piece of the Koldo case in the Audiencia Nacional, which has included a search of the house of former Minister of Transport José Luis Ábalos and a request for information at Adif.
In a recorded video disseminated by the PP, Tellado denounced a "new raid, new arrest, and new scandal in Pedro Sánchez's PSOE", and added that, "in the same week that his last Minister of Transport had to resign due to his negligent management, the Civil Guard searches the house of his first Minister of Transport for his corruption and the facilities of Adif".
The arrest of Cristian Corvillo and references to the "Peugeot gang"
The popular leader also pointed out the arrest in that operation of Cristian Corvillo, whom he described as "Sánchez's chauffeur" and as "another prominent member of the primaries clan". "The Peugeot gang had a chauffeur, and it is also confirmed that he is in the plot, the chauffeur, Pedro Sánchez's two number 2s, and the guardian of his endorsements, Koldo García", he stated.
As he stressed, "all of Sánchez's companions in that car, from the primaries, are either convicted or indicted", so that "only he remains". In his opinion, "we are facing the final fireworks of decadent Sanchismo" and two examples of what, in his opinion, this stage has meant have exploded in the President of the Government: "the most absolute inefficiency and massive corruption".
Questions about Sánchez's knowledge and criticism of the socialist environment
Tellado pointed out that this is "the thread that connects the Ministry of José Luis Ábalos with that of Óscar Puente" and stressed that "the person responsible for all this is the one who appointed both, it is Pedro Sánchez". In that vein, he insisted that the President of the Government is "synonymous with corruption, negligence, and disaster for Spain", because, he said, "hardly anyone from his inner circle is free of judicial cause anymore".
The general secretary of the PP also raised a series of questions about the head of the Executive's knowledge of what people in his inner circle were doing: "Is Sánchez going to continue maintaining that he knew nothing? Nothing of what his whole gang was doing, that formed by Ábalos, Koldo, Santos, Cerdán, and Cristian Corvillo?" He then added that "all those who accompanied him in his ascent to power are already in prison or under investigation" and that "they arrived in the car driven by Cristian Corvillo and have ended up in a Civil Guard van".
Criticism for accidents and allusion to elections
Tellado considered that "it is a matter of time before Sánchez also has to answer before the courts for all this looting". He also stated that Andrea, one of José Luis Ábalos's nieces, who was placed in Logirail, a subsidiary of Renfe, has been arrested.
In parallel, the PP leader maintained that "corruption costs lives" and indicated that Sánchez brought forward the elections with the aim of "avoiding the indictment of the Socialist Party". However, he added, "what he has not been able to stop are the judicial investigations into all the corruption that surrounds him".
Tellado reviewed other cases that, in his opinion, affect the PSOE to insist that "indeed" not all are the same. "The party of corruption, kickbacks, and fatal accidents, on the train, is the Socialist Party", he assured.
Finally, he stressed that in Sánchez's Spain there is not a single day without shocks, "in the best of cases there are raids or resignations. And in the worst, railway accidents like the one that happened in Toledo last Wednesday". On that scenario, he concluded that "on November 29, democracy will kick out all this mafia. Decency will prevail over delinquency and management over corruption".
